'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Being Watched Big Time

With the future of Nani still in doubt, are Manchester United already lining up his replacement?

Once again, speculation is mounting that United are about to make inroads into signing the Colombian striker, playing his trade with FC Porto, James Rodriguez

It`s being reported that scouts, from United, watched Rodriguez for the seventh time this season when Porto played Academia de Coimbra at the weekend.

The twenty-one year-old is reported to have a 24 million buy-out clause in his contract, which could be a sticking point but, as Sir Alex has always inferred, whenever he`s asked the Glazers for a player they`ve delivered!

A 24 million buyout sounds too cheap where Porto are concerned. They wouldnt settle for anything less than the buyout like theyve done so before with Hulk, Falcao and Moutinho (even though he didnt end up leaving). He certainly looks like he'll be a class act but then again a players true ability and impact is hard to gauge when they're playing in a different, easier league.

I hate to hear nani is leaving manutd. He's been among d best 4 some years now b4 the arrival of ashley young. He's still young, just a drip in form lately, i hope he gets to his best soon enough, he's no doubt a match winner.
