Please Accept My Apologies Villa

Please Accept My Apologies Villa

Yesterday evening, sat in the away section of Villa Park, it was annoying to see some of the United faithful let themselves down.

When the Villa support, as they have done since Stilyian Petrov was taken ill, stood and clapped in the nineteenth minute, I wanted our support to do the same, but no, several let themselves and the club down.

A tirade of abuse was shouted, much of which I have no intention of repeating on this web-site.

It sickens me when I hear United supporters moaning at other supporters about the way the Munich disaster is sometimes mocked when we, ourselves, as a group, can`t do the decent thing and observe our hosts fine ritual.

Aston Villa supporters, I`d like to offer my apologies for those idiots that don`t deserve to breath the same air as the rest of us.

You sir, are a great example to your club. There is always a minority at every club which is a shame as it's only a game of Football, showing respect to the fallen or someone ill is much more important.

We really do have a small bunch of *****s support the club, thankfully it's only a minority. Can only apologise to Aston villa and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season and wish Petrov all the best.

Well said Red Boy. There are a small minority at every club who are cretinous. Some clubs have slightly bigger minoritys than others however (see Chelsea) All the best Stan

Well said P, completely agree. Thanks for the sentiment RB, you shouldn't have to do that but you did. Respect.

Yes all clubs have the morons ..... but never heard it at VP since we started doing it, the shouts during the minutes silence for the fallen armed service men and women were a disgrace too ....... Respect to Red Boy though.

Fair play Red Boy, I was pretty disgusted by it, but it's easy to forget it's only a small minority of idiots, respect to you and all the decent United fans at the game.

I hope the silent majority can show the loud minority the way forward. Most villa fans including myself know its not all united fans are like that late kick offs also don't help. Respect to you and others for your comments

Well said. Great game and the VAST majority behaved superbly as well in supporting both teams

Not good but heard far, far worse this season and over the last 30 years. Every club has idiots. Storm in a very small tea cup. If you want to highlight bad fan behaviour (and not just Uniteds) you'd have to write a dozen of these articles each week at least. More concerned with United's dozy performance again. We need to be rolling the likes of Villa over by three or four to nowt.
