'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Strange Coincidence

United and Chelsea go into this fixture with both clubs having their captain's missing.

For United, Nemanja Vidic is laid up with a knee injury and we wish him all the best for his ongoing rehabilitation.

For Chelsea, John Terry s suspended, with the former England captain serving the second of a two game ban for the racist comments uttered in the direction of Rio`s brother, Anton.

Now I`m not going to go into the ins and outs of what went on, I prefer to concentrate on the football side of things, but his absence from the heart of the Chelsea defence is seen as a bonus for us, with Sir Alex remarking at his pre-match press conference,

"He`s a loss because he`s been such a dominant figure for them."

"He`s the captain and with his experience he can be a ruthless leader."

"His presence a lot of the time was the more important thing for them. You always miss a player like that."

You certainly do although looking at the Chelsea squad I reckon Gary Cahill coming in doesn`t weaken them too much!

So what if it was mentioned it was the 2nd of a 4 game ban - the point of the damn article is to say both Utd and Chelsea were missing influential key defenders who are the club captains..... go troll your own site and leave us alone on here.
