'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fletcher`s Chelsea Comparison

It`s interesting to view a few comments, attributed to Darren Fletcher, relating to our next opponents, Chelsea.

Darren, who has just come back from his debilitating has noticed, just like many, that Chelsea have adopted a new style of football since capturing the Champions League trophy last season.

He`s noticed that gone are the days when they were reliant on sheer power with Drogba leading the line and that they`ve now opted for a different style, or as Darren put succinctly puts it,

"They used to be a big, strong physical side."

"Now you are facing more Barcelona-like players."

"They have small intricate players who get in the pockets behind you and they play killer passes."

"It will be a new challenge."

Is it a challenge we can overcome?

Only if we don`t give them a head-start which has been something of a tradition for us this season, so far!
