Hero Hernandez

Hero Hernandez

It`s been a strange start to the season for Javier Hernandez.

The signing of Robin Van Persie, from Arsenal, relegated the popular young Mexican down the pecking order. But, last night, Javier was given a chance to shine, deployed alongside Wayne Rooney and the aforementioned Dutchman.

It was an opportunity that Javier grabbed with both hands, netting a memorable brace that both dragged us back into the game and then saw us emerge to win it.

After the game, Sir Alex Ferguson praised his young Mexican striker commenting,

"He trains magnificently. With him, Van Persie, Rooney and Welbeck, I don`t know what you do with them."

Whilst, the man himself, commented about his performance,

"I`ve got nothing to prove. I`m enjoying it here even if I`m not playing much."

"It`s not about who is the hero - it is about getting the three points."

Being 2-0 down after twenty-minutes, it certainly was about getting the three points, but then ago we all love a hero don`t we!
