RVP - Best Start Yet

Not long after Sir Alex Ferguson signed Robin van Persie he commented that he`d expect a minimum of twenty goals from the Dutch striker.

Well it appears that Van Persie is well on the way to reaching that target having made his best start to a Premier League season.

The goal, against Stoke City, was his sixth this season making it 6 in 8 Premier League games beating the 5 he`d scored, for Arsenal, in the season`s 2007/08 and 2011/12.

Let`s hope it augers good for the remainder of the season.

Great start but with some of the chances his had it definitely could've been 2 or 3 goals better.
