RVP Picks Up On Our Point

Another to step forward and express a degree of disappointment about the way we started in the fixture against Stoke is our leading goal-scorer Robin van Persie.

Van Persie, speaking after we`d eventually overcome a gallant Stoke side, had this to say to reporters after the game,

"We were a bit disappointed to go behind very quickly in the game - - that wasn`t planned."

"But we came back strongly in the first half with two goals and in the end we can be pleased with the game and the three points."

"We`ve got to do better. We all know that and the manager knows it."

"It`s happened too often and we have to work on that."

Once again, I`d re-iterate the fact that we need to get this sorted out sooner rather than later, especially with a rampant Chelsea waiting for us this Sunday!
