Macheda Going?

There`s a little bit of unrest in the camp!

Well just a smidgeon with our young Italian forward, Federico Macheda, looking to rock the boat.

Macheda has not started for Manchester United since Boxing Day of last year and seems further than ever from doing so with a whole line of quality strikers ahead of him in the pecking order.

A loan spell at Queens Park Rangers, last season, failed to serve any purpose and now his agent, Giovanni Bia, is inferring that his client is restless, remarking to the media,

"He wants to play and if he cannot do so by January then we`ll try to find an alternative solution."

I suppose we can`t really blame the lad, at his age he must be craving regular football and if he`s not getting it or is unlikely to get it, then perhaps a move away from Old Trafford is something that would suit all the parties involved.

Are any of you bothered if he leaves? He's rubbish!

Not particularly bothered I say let him go another young lad who believes himself better than he actually is. He made a good impact when we first played him but he doesn't seem to have progressed from there. If he couldn't get into QPR's first team there not a chance bar some sort of injury crisis akin to the current defensive one he'll get into ours. Seventh choice forward at best Fergie would probably play youth team or wingers up front before Macheda.

Shame really the lad had a lot of potential. Seems to think having potential is enough and that he doesn't have to put in a decent shift to fulfill it. The hype surrounding him got to his head (most notable when he thought he was too good for Wigan), like it does with many youngsters i suppose. What a waste.
