Rooney Returns

Strange things happen in this game of ours so don`t be too surprised if we manage to; somehow, draw Barnsley when the time comes for the draw to be made for the 3rd round.

What the heck is he going on about you might be asking!

Well reports indicate that John Rooney, the 21 year-old brother of our very own Wayne, is joining the Yorkshire club having parted company with the MLS side Orlando City.

In fact there`s an element of excitement over at Oakwell with Barnsley manager, Keith Hill, remarking,

"He is worth taking a punt on."

So when fates conspire to draw us against Barnsley in that aforementioned draw, just remember where you read it first as the two Rooney brothers contemplate facing each other!
