An Unhappy Kuszczak
Now settled in on the south coast, playing for Brighton, after six seasons at Old Trafford, Tomasz Kuszczak appears to be far from happy.
Talking about his time at Old Trafford, Kuszczak believes that United were far from being decent when they were £5 million for a transfer fee with the Polish keeper remarking to the media, ahead of Poland`s clash with England in Warsaw this Tuesday evening,
"For the last year, I had the chance to move to many good teams."
"I always said that I wanted to play, I asked for permission to leave. At United, they said they would let me go. But for £5 million."
"Shay Given had three years on his deal at City and was sold to Villa for £2 million."
"I had one more year at Old Trafford and they wanted £5 million. This sum of money was unacceptable."
When you look at it like that, it probably was, but we`re sure there were other influencing factors Kuszczak isn`t telling us about.

Don't think there's anything more to it than what Kuszczak has said to be honest. Falls out with Fergie so in spite Fergie tries to kill his career, we saw the same happen with Berby.

Maybe our beloved American parasites demanded that much for him to help service the debt. We've seemed to be asking quite a bit over the odds for a few players now makes me wonder if Fergie's been told to get as much as he can for each.

Never really consider that to be honest. All that same pricing them out of the move effectively ruins their career, not fair on the player but it ensures the rest of the squad are kept in check.
