Top Scorer?

If pressed to name the top England goal-scorer under Roy Hodgson, I`d hazard many a person would be a little perplexed when you told them who it was.

In fact the top scorer, for England, during the short (so far) reign of Roy Hodgson is our very own Danny Welbeck

Welbeck, during Roy`s reign, has now scored, courtesy of the brace on Friday night, has now scored 4 times which is one more than Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney, both of whom are on 3 goals.

Anyone else surprised by that?

Hopefully many more to come for club and country. He could have a lot more goals to his name though if he works on his finishing.
