The Welbeck Flick!

The Welbeck Flick!

Friday night saw Danny Welbeck play his part in the 5-0 demolition of San Marino.

Welbeck scored, just like his club companion Wayne Rooney, twice, with a deft back-heel catching the eye.

The back-heel was, it has to be said, similar to that which he`d scored against Sweden at Euro 2012, prompting journalists to label the move as the Welbeck flick, prompting Danny to reply,

"As for it now being a Welbeck flick - I don`t think so."

"Once I get into position it`s something I try to do to score a goal and it came off."

More of the same, in a United shirt, would be appreciated Danny!

It was lucky and he never meant it though. Oh nope wait, he just done it again. I amazes how Welbeck struggles to score in good goal scoring positions yet pulls off goals like that.

Like famous said it's all well and good scoring the odd fancy goal but needs to start putting away the ordinary ones more consistently.
