Evans Doubt!

Evans Doubt!

One negative from the 2-1 win in Romania last night, as we headed to the top of the group, relates to Jonny Evans.

Earlier in the week, we reported on how Sir Alex, according to the media, was a little reticent when it came to playing Evans mindful of the current situation whereby our stock of central defenders is diminished.

Well those fears were to come back to haunt him last night with it now being reported that Evans is struggling to be fit for the Premier League clash with Newcastle, this Sunday, with a recurrence of a dead leg injury, leaving only Rio Ferdinand as our one fit central defender.

Makes me laugh when you hear players are injured and cant play due to dead leg or stubbed toes.
