Getting the United Face On?
Watching that first forty-five minutes, against Tottenham; was painful.
United gave one of the poorest first half performances I can remember and although there were improvements in the second forty-five minutes, it just wasn`t good enough.
After the game, Patrice Evra came up with some spiel about putting on the United face and I`m wondering whether he does have a point when he remarked to the media,
"We put on the Man United face only in the second half against Spurs and this is not enough if we`re to win the title."
"We must make sure in the Champions League and away at Newcastle we are back to the winning mentality we showed in the second half."
"That`s why I say the problem was inside our heads. It was not tactics, it was not tiredness."
"You don`t play a second half like that then make an excuse that you are tired. It`s just about your head, we didn`t start well in that game."
And whose fault is that may I ask!

Why is it always Evra that comes out with this ***** every time. If he spent as much time perfecting his game as he does stating the bleeding obvious maybe he would still be the world's best LB. The squad as a whole need to pull their heads out of their arses. Hopefully this loss to spurs will be the kick up the backside we need to snap out of this inability to turn up for 90 minutes

Not wrong in what he's saying its just poorly phrased and slightly rich coming from him. He hasn't had his 'united face' on for the better part of 2-3 years and, as MotorMad stated before me, is largely the reason he's no longer the best LB in the world. In fact his fallen so far that he's not even in contention for it anymore.
