Rooney`s Back?

Rooney`s Back?

Despite protestation to the contrary and fears that Wayne Rooney injury could see him absent from the first team for several more weeks, some fresh news has given us some fresh optimism.

We understand that Wayne is back in light training, and has been for some five days and that there is every chance that he could be available for our much anticipated trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool this weekend.

We`re led to believe that the only outward sign of the horrific injury is a light strapping that is being worn purely to prevent the wound from picking up any infection.

Now whether Sir Alex Ferguson will risk Rooney from the start, on Sunday, or has him on the bench jus I n case things are not going to plan, remains to be seen.
