Major Doubts

It`s strange how things can change overnight!

Yesterday, with the round of international matches having been concluded, the belief was that Shinji Kagawa was a major doubt for the fixture with Wigan this Saturday, having missed the World C\up qualifier against Iraq with a back problem.

Meanwhile, Robin Van Persie was withdrawn with a thigh knock that the Dutch manager dismissed as merely a precautionary measure.

This morning the tabloid press are insistent that not one, but both, are major doubts for Saturday now!

Reporting that both players were OK wouldn't sell chip wrappers though, would it? Better to manufacture an artificial crisis in order to keep the punters guessing.

Adding to fcb's comment it also means fergie can keep the opposition second guessing as to who's going to line-up as they're clueless as to who is truly out of the game.
