Jones Injury Blow

Jones Injury Blow

Matters are not going well for Phil Jones.

Our versatile defender-cum-midfielder, was getting close to a first team comeback, after resuming full training when he picked up another injury.

Unfortunately, this latest injury, a knee meniscus tear, required an operation which, reportedly, will see him sidelined for at least two months.

We wish him well and await his return to first team action.

He was played far too much last seasons and now we're seeing the after effects because of it. He needs games and experience yeah but he can't cope with the amount he was given last season just yet.
