'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ronaldo Coming Back?

Well one popular Sunday tabloid is running with that story.

It infers that Sir Alex Ferguson is set to test our owners with a plea to bring the Portuguese sensation back to Old Trafford.

Stating that the Glazers have never refused Sir Alex a player he`s asked for, the inference is that Sir Alex is going to ask the owners to do their best to cough up something in the region of 100 million for the player.

Although Ronaldo has a buy-out clause in his contract of some 500 million, it`s though his recent ructions with the Real Madrid board may see them cash in on what could be seen as an unhappy player.

The red-top goes on to infer that much of the transfer fee could be generated from other revenue streams, sponsorship, shirt sales and the such like, personally, although I`d love to see CR7 back at Old Trafford, the words cuckoo-land spring to mind!

Would love to see him back but no doubt him and Madrid will kiss and make up over a ridiculous new contract.
