'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ronaldo Coming Back?

Well one popular Sunday tabloid is running with that story.

It infers that Sir Alex Ferguson is set to test our owners with a plea to bring the Portuguese sensation back to Old Trafford.

Stating that the Glazers have never refused Sir Alex a player he`s asked for, the inference is that Sir Alex is going to ask the owners to do their best to cough up something in the region of £100 million for the player.

Although Ronaldo has a buy-out clause in his contract of some £500 million, it`s though his recent ructions with the Real Madrid board may see them cash in on what could be seen as an unhappy player.

The red-top goes on to infer that much of the transfer fee could be generated from other revenue streams, sponsorship, shirt sales and the such like, personally, although I`d love to see CR7 back at Old Trafford, the words cuckoo-land spring to mind!

Would love to see him back but no doubt him and Madrid will kiss and make up over a ridiculous new contract.
