Neymar Inquiry

Neymar Inquiry

Now that would have been quite something!

One red-top publication is carrying the inference that United made more than just a polite enquiry to bring a potential Brazilian superstar to Old Trafford before the transfer window slammed shut.

It reckons that United offered Santos a cool £38 million for their talented young forward Naymar.

Unfortunately, it seems that the player himself vetoed the potential move by declaring that it is his desire to remain in Brazilian football until after the 2014 World Cup.

It`s a shame really; just imagine the attacking options his acquisition would have given us.

Just hope he doesn't appear elsewhere between now and the Olympics then.

The lad has the potential to be a world beater there's no doubting that. Having already put in bids for Hazard and Lucas this past transfer window Fergie is clearly after another winger, one with the potential to be world class, maybe something to watch out for next years transfer window. Neymar himself irks me though, whilst he might be brillint if he feels the slightest bit of contact in brazil he dives to the ground feigning injuring like a lunatic. It's not just the occasional dive either, he's a proper prima donna about being challenged whilst on the ball. This makes me wonder whether he'll be able to cope with the physicality of the league or whether he'll disappear against some opposition.
