'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Not a Happy Chap

Now on the books of Fulham Football Club, it looks as if Dimitar Berbatov has an axe to grind with Sir Alex Ferguson.

Amongst the several articles in the tabloid press this morning are comments that leave the readers in doubt that the parting of the ways has left a bad whiff in the air.

The comments made by Berbatov could be viewed as a sting attack on Sir Alex with Berbatov remarking,

"I don`t respect him any more."

"I feel bad about all that`s happened in Manchester. I didn`t deserve it. But the coach decides."

"He told me he is changing the way the team will play and I`m not useful any more."

"I have my own pride. I saw things were not going as expected. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I won two titles, I became top scorer."

"I said goodbye to many people at United who deserved it. I didn`t speak to them all."

"I didn`t speak to Ferguson. Maybe I should send him a letter."

"I`m very disappointed in Ferguson."

"The success speaks for him and how good he is."

"But I don`t respect him any more because of the way he treated me."

"I`m proud of myself but I`m a little disappointed by Ferguson as a person."

"I don`t know if he thinks well for me now."

"And I was ready to sign a life long contract with United."

Sadly, you don`t always get what you want and, as has been showed in the past at Old Trafford, when your time is up, your time is most certainly up!

Fergie takes no prisoners once he thinks your of no use to the club or an unsettling influence your gone. Just look at the players he's given the boot Ruud, Keano, Beckham. No one is safe some players would be wise to take heed of that fact.

Thing is MotorMad I can't help but think that Fergie knew he wasn't going to play Berbatov but kept him anyway as some sort of punishment for him and he had to waste a year of his life not playing football but sitting on a bench. You're not wrong about one thing though this is definitely a message to the remaining ayers.

Would love to know what went on there - something isn't right about the whole story. No manager in their right mind blows over £30m on a player, watches him become the club's top scorer then benches him. Can't wait for the old goat to retire, as lot of players' grievances should start to come out, and then we'll get a much bigger picture of the reign of terror.

Someone check fifths temperature think he might be ill. Did you a city fan imply you believe Fergie to be of sound mind. I never thought I'd see the day:-o

Read it again - I said "no manager in their right mind". The old pi5s can will get no compliments from me!
