Much Ado About Nothing

Much Ado About Nothing

The witch-hunt, led by the tabloid press, about Sir Alex, supposedly, wanting Rooney out of Old Trafford, has finally been rubbished by Sir Alex.

Speaking about the tabloid trash, whilst also covering the absence of Rooney from the last game, against Fulham, Sir Alex has had this to say to the media,

"Of course Wayne can get back to full fitness and sharpness. He definitely needs games. You see the frame he`s got - stocky, strong. Some players are like that."

"He`s no Ryan Giggs. Ryan has never had a pound on him in his life. Some people are lucky with their genes."

"The speculation about Wayne doesn`t bother me. I`ve got no interest in it."

"It`s not a problem for Wayne, it`s only one game."

"But players like to be playing every week - that`s the horrible part of the game. When they`re not playing they are very disappointed - I`m glad they are disappointed."

Like we`ve said from Day One - much ado about nothing!
