Reaction to Champions League Draw

Reaction to Champions League Draw

I`d imagine most United supporters are quite happy with tour Champions League group stage draw.

Barring a disaster you`d hope (but didn`t we all say that last year) that United would make the knockout stages this time around.

However, on the back of the disappointment we al felt last season, Sir Alex has vowed that United will make a major impact in the competition this time around, remarking to the media,

"After the experience of last year, we don`t want to make any errors this time."

"We will play our strongest team to make sure we get through. It`s fair to say we threw it away last season. That won`t happen again next season."

"We`ll qualify from the group stages - I`ll make sure of it. European football is hugely important to us and we must compete for the biggest trophies."

"We need to make a statement and show everybody that last season was a blip"

Indeed we do and what better way to do so than to gate-crash that Wembley Final in May!
