Rooney - Witch-Hunt Continues

And still the tabloid press harp on about Rooney leaving United.

Today one of the tabloids reports that Rooney himself is fearful that United are set to sell him. The evidence being for such an accusation that Sir Alex believes that he has enough strike-power to wrestle the title back from City without relying on his top scorer from last season.

Further muck being thrown about by the tabloid press relates to the relationship between Sir Alex and Rooney with it now being reported that it has disintegrated and has reached a stage where it cannot be repaired.

Furthermore, as we continue to monitor this 'witch-hunt`, we`ve noticed that some kind of summer sale has kicked in with any potential buyer now being entitled to a 20% reduction in the price. Yesterday Rooney was being touted as being available fro 50 million, but suddenly this figure has dropped to 40 million!

As for Wayne, he`s pictured chilling out in a t-shirt, recovering from the horrific cut he received at Old Trafford last Saturday, bearing a Latin inscription which translates as

"Courage becomes greater through a wound."

Considering the scandalous treatment being dished out by the tabloid press I reckon Wayne might need a tough-skin to prevent further wounds being opened up.
