Kagawa Makes His Mark

Kagawa Makes His Mark

It`s always nice to score on your home debut!

Even if it was one of those kind of goals that our granny could score!

Nevertheless, Shinji Kagawa produced the kind of performance that suggests he`ll be a mainstay of our starting eleven for many a year to come.

One person who was impressed was our young midfield combatant, Tom Cleverley, who had this to say about his Japanese midfield partner,

"I love playing with him."

"It`s one and two touch high energy football."

"He`s brilliant and settled in really well. He links defence with attack, gets on the half-turn and creates chances. I can`t speak highly enough of him."

"When you`re playing with players you know are going to give you the ball back and you know what they are going to do, it can only help you."

Onwards and upwards as they say!
