Mexican Interest

The red-top press carries reports that United are looking to fend off the advances of Liverpool for the Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera.

Currently playing in Mexico with the Mexican side Pachua, the £10 million rated midfielder, nicknamed Zorro, is destined for a new life abroad with the clubs sporting director, Andres Fasi, quoted as having remarked,

"There is official interest. We have a document."

"We know he`s going to emigrate to England. Manchester United and Liverpool have talked to us."

The only problem currently associated with any potential deal is that the twenty-two year old is currently nursing an ankle injury courtesy of playing for Mexico in the recent London 2012 Olympic football tournament.

We`ll report further if there are any developments.

Well apparently our transfer activity is over so I can't see this one coming to fruition. Don't know much about him and whether he's what we really need in midfield.

Almost Fergie you are getting closer, thats it, correct, its a MIDFIELDER we need, well done you. Now just think a little bit more, that's it, go on, nearly there, yes well done Fergie we do need a De Rossi or someone similiar. What? NO!! Carrick is not on the same planet as De Rossi!!! ffs, You were doing so well Fergie. What? No!!! We cannot re-animate Giggs or Scholes either, let them rest in peace. Jesus Christ Fergie, Anderson is not Brazilian, all the evidence points to him being Peruvian, even Brazilian Division 3 goalkeepers can score from 20 yards out at least twice a season. God damn it Fergie, I'm off to support Altrincham.

We have a better option now in the attacking midfield with the likes of scholes, kagawa, cleveley, nicky powell and anderson. Giggs is also and option but coming to the defensive midfield, we have lesser option with d injured fletcher, carrick and maybe jones so i think if fergie is to spend again, he should look at dat position and also in the central defense. I wasn't comfortable seeing carrick there against everton neither was i surprise when fellaini knocked him down to head the winner. A combative player like "cheikh tiote" will be a big time option in the defensive midfield and a trusted alternative in the central defense and even on the right side of the defense.
