Rossi Moves To Newcastle

Italian youngster Giuseppe Rossi has moved to Newcastle United on loan until the January transfer window.

With Shearer retiring, Michael Owen injured, Martins injured, and Ameobi crap, the Magpies were in the market for a striker, and it appears they have no money to do anything.

In a bizarre move, considering we're a little bit short on attacking players (even with Smith coming back) Rossi will make the move to the North East until January 1st.

Even Sir Alex thinks it was a bit silly:

'It was a big decision for us especially as we don't have the choice of strikers.'

However we're not doing this to help them, more to help the player gain valuable Premiership experience. Just as long as he doesn't do too well for the Barcodes, it'll be a good move!

(Apologies for the previous article, I said nothing had happened...well it has-Sorry!)

Could be a good move to get him some practice - and well done for adding a "no matches against us" clause, because you know what always happens. I just hope, for the sake of the future of football, Rossi does turn into what Fergie thinks he will and won't just vanish.

This is good news for United fans. It would appear that this time next year Giuseppe Rossi will be a part of the first time line up. Newcastle have a belting player in Giuseppe Rossi. Newcastle need soe luck and although not a fan I think they are a cracking club with fans that any team in the world would gladly pledge their aleigence too. Giuseppe Rossi won't let Newcastle down. & all this bull about Man u being short on strikers.... Are you joking?! Rooney will be lucky to get back in the squad after his ban.

How can Newcastle keep making these good deals?

Good move for all concerned if he gets first team experience.

he should keep his place in newcastle cause he is a goal scorer and he will score goals and then when he returns in january maybe we can use him finally but what worrys me is we wont have him for champions league if newcastle use him in uefa cup
