Defensive Worries to Continue!

Defensive Worries to Continue!

Post the Everton game, Sir Alex Ferguson was asked whether our central defensive problems would ease before the next Premier League game, against Fulham.

Once again, we`ve been hit with injuries in a position that we always seem to suffer and once again Michael Carrick was forced to adapt his game to cover.

But, according to Sir Alex Ferguson, there`s not much chance of the situation easing before this weekend with the boss remarking about the injured quartet of Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling,

"I don`t think any of them will be fit for Saturday."

"Hopefully, Evans is getting near to being able to start."

With Fulham having gotten their season off to a wonderful start, thrashing Norwich 5-0, and with them possessing a considerable aerial threat, through Petric and Hangeland, Saturday`s encounter could be a lot close than people were originally predicting.
