Kaka Rumour Intensifies!

One rumour doing the rounds is certainly an interesting one.

It infers that Real Madrid, with the arrival of Luka Modric being imminent, are looking to loan out the Brazilian legend Kaka

The suggestion is that Real Madrid are looking towards Old Trafford with a view to Kaka coming to Old Trafford for a season.

Although nothing has been officially announced and, in our opinion, it remains just speculation, could Sir Alex be about to further up-stage our noisy-neighbours on the transfer front?

this would be the most pointless signing in the history of man utd lol with RVP we are set for attacking players. we need a LB (buttner on his way it seems) and a DM. i dont expect us to sign a DM until giggs and scholes retire though (yes they arent DM's but we have too many midfielders atm to sign anyone)

Wll our midfield does need strengthening and a player of Kakas quality would make it a whole lot better. I'm open minded to the idea to be honest though I doubt it will happen. Despite suffering from recurring injury and fitness problems whenever he has played for Madrid he has maintained his high quality performances. If he were to join he would have to play in a deeper CM role rather than his more advanced CAM role but I reckon it'll benefit him. Stumbling block would be his wages, if Madrid were willing to pay a majority of the wage I can't see why he's not worth a punt.

Midfield definitely needs strengthening. Giggs and Scholes can't play forever. There's no guarantee Fletcher will ever be back to his best or even fit enough to play. Anderson god knows what's going on with him seems to be the next Kleberson. Carrick seems to be getting back to form after his two year vanishing act but keeps getting put in defense. Cleverly looks good but he's still young and inconsistent. Kaka on loan we'd be daft to pass up the chance.

Re Madrid paying his wages, or part of - surely a club of your size should not be looking for handouts or charity from rivals? You're not Spuds in disguise are you? Kaka tried to engineer a move to City a couple of years ago, we turned him down but he's othing if not persistant!

kennyclementstache, why pay 150k a week after tax (in Spain) when they clearly want rid of him? We'd be stupid not to make them pay some of his extorionate wages moreso if they're willing to do pay it, especially if he gets injured again whilst on loan. Personally he's not my first choice, I'd sooner see us get someone who's more physically imposing and who can boss a midfield and not get bullied by the likes of Toure or Fellaini. Wouldn't mind Fellaini, Strootman, Sissoko or Elm.
