Cleverley Aiming High!

Last season was the season that promised so much for Tom Cleverley.

Having served time out on loan, it was widely expected that Tom would capitalize on the great start to the season he had and go on to great things.

Unfortunately, for Tom, those aspirations were blighted by injuries.

But, this season represents an opportunity for another fresh start and Tom, fresh from his experiences with Team GB at the Olympics, is looking forward to progressing to the next level, commenting in the media,

"I`ve been at the club for a long time and I was disappointed with the injuries last year."

"I won`t be playing like there`s pressure on myself, but I know it`s a big season."

"There`ll always be competition for places, but I`ll be working hard at my game and hoping I can take off from where I was before I got injured."

"I`m moving forward, obviously…to play for the U21`s and then Team GB, which is something a little bit different."

"But playing for England seniors is the pinnacle. I`ll be training hard to get into the team and win my first cap at some point."

Patience is a virtue but then again there`s no harm in wanting to press on with hast!

Hopefully he can stay fit and build on last seasons start. That aside though is it true that Fletcher made an appearance against Aberdeen?
