Bolt wants United chance

When you are the fastest man on the planet you aren't likely to be short of confidence are you? And Usain Bolt can never be accused of lacking confidence can he!

There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance but I genuinely believe that Bolt is just supremely confident and believes that he really can do what he sets out to and his next move, when he is finished in London 2012, is to earn himself a deal with United...

Tongue in cheek or not the Jamaican has called upon Sir Alex Ferguson to "call him up" and give him a trial with the chance of earning himself a deal at Old Trafford.

Apparently Rio Ferdinand has been in touch via Twitter with this to be explored more after the Olympics finish.

If Bolt is half as good a footballer as he is a sprinter then the 100m champion would be worth a look at, although (assuming he has the ability) you would have to think that his temperament wouldn't exactly sit that well with Sir Alex!

Well Fergie does want to add more pace to the side. Just imagine the linesmans face when he reads the teamsheet :-D I think Bolt should stick to the running though.
MotorMad
His ego is leading him to believe he's better than he actually is. I think he's being 100% serious and if he could kick a ball half as good as he could sprint then there would be no harm in giving him a trial but I reckon the sad reality is that he's ******. Th shirt sales would be huge if he were to sign however I think if he really wants a role at the club let it be an ambassadorial role if anything.
