Rio Denies Charge

The easy thing for Rio Ferdinand to have done, following his improper conduct charge, would have been to plead guilty and take the rap.

But Rio isn`t like that, Rio wants to stand up for himself and to that effect our centre back has denied the charge, relating to that now infamous tweet, and has asked for a personal hearing with the Football Association.

It might prove to be a smart move or it might prove to be far from smart, only time will tell!

Pointless even attempting to get off the fa will be determined to make an example of him. They did Suarez on Evra's word with no evidence so they'll throw the book at Rio. Him being one of the more high profile tweeters the fa will have a point to prove.

Didn't Suarez himself admit to calling Evra a Negrito? Why need evidence when you have a confession? The only way rios appeal will be successful is if he pleads ignorance and says the term choc ice is all down to interpretation, however that didn't work for Suarez so it won't work for rio.
