Familiar Name Graces Gossip Pages!
Flicking through the transfer gossip speculation that adorns several news sites, a familiar name popped up.
Can anybody else remember the time in which we were linked with the Dutch goalkeeper - Maarten Stekelenburg as a possible successor to Edwin van der Sar?
As it happens Sir Alex Ferguson decided that David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard were better option and the speculation came to nothing.
However, it could be that Stekelenburg could get his Premier League chance with it now being rumoured that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to lure the keeper to White Hart Lane and are looking to do a deal with AS Roma for the 29 year-old.
