United In Massive Shirt Deal

There`s money in them there hills!

United have announced that one of the key revenue streams for providing financial income has resulted in our Commercial Department setting up a huge shirt sponsorship deal.

From the start of the 2014/2015 season United`s shirts will be emblazoned with the Chevrolet logo after it was announced that a deal had been agreed whereby Chevrolet will pay United a huge £210 million over the course of the seven year deal.

This deal, apparently, is an increase of £10 million a season on the current deal United have with AON

Speaking about the deal our Commercial Director, Richard Arnold, has commented,

"This is a fantastic long term deal for the club."

"We have been partners with Chevrolet for only six weeks, but they have produced some fantastic ideas that will benefit both the partnership and our 659 million followers around the world."

The only question remains as to how much of this vast sum will be used to supplement improving the squad as opposed to ending up paying of the debt or going into the Glazer family accounts.

Great deal from the club. More interested though in who will be our next shirt manufacturer, if it remains Nike one hopes they'll come out with some nicer kits for us to wear as what we've been given in the last few years are horrendous. Football isn't a fashion contest however it's nice to have something that isn't ugly once in a while.

Nice amount can't see Fergie getting much of it though it'll be straight into the debt repayments. Famous your bang on with the kit manufacturer though the new shirt. What we're they thinking it's that bad it made my wife cry!
