One More Slipping Away!

Seeing as the proposal to sign Lucas Moura looks like coming to nothing, unless we go in with a preposterous bid, should United be looking elsewhere?

If so, any reputed interest in signing the Benfica midfielder, Axel Witsel, 23, could also be in jeopardy with it being reported, this morning, attempts to lure him to the Premier League by both Chelsea and ourselves are about to be thwarted by AS Roma declaring a massive interest.

With Witsel's club demanding his minimum fee release clause we would never sign him anyway. He's a good player yeah, not brilliant and it doesn't look like he's going to set the world alight any time soon either and as such we would never pay the 30 mil fee. As far as minimum fee release clauses go players nowadays really need to start thinking it through rather than kicking up a stink when they want to leave but can't as no club is willing to stump up the ridiculous fees being associated with them.
