'If It's Football, It's Vital'

They`ve Got Ferguson`s Backing!

It`s not the first time that Sir Alex has come out and praised the Glazer family but down in South Africa the boss has done exactly that.

Speaking about our American owners, Sir Alex has commented to the media,

"I am comfortable with the Glazer situation. They have been great."

"They always backed me whenever I have asked them. I have never faced any opposition."

"They have always been as sensible as they can be in terms of financing the club."

And I guess that`s all you can really hope for is it not?

The day Fergie opposes them is the day the glazers cosy ownership of the club goes south. I fairness to them whilst what they done to the club, placing their own personal debt which they used to buy the club back onto the club itself was criminal and seemingly crippled the club they have done fantastically well with cutting the debt down whilst providing sufficient funds for the club to continue challenging and winning on all fronts. At the same time commercially the club has gone from height to height and the value of the club has grown substantially. Hopefully we can see off the debt in the near future and utilise or money strengthening the squad to the point where it can not only challenge the likes of Madrid or Barcelona but also have the individual quality to match them man for man, whatever's left over the glazers can have to do what they want with.

Well done Glazers you have done well reducing YOUR debt, should I be thankful, *********.

What did you expect SOur Alex to say about the Glazers in the lead up to your stock market flotation? Just toeing the party line so he can continue to pick up his mega-bonuses.
