Falling Considerably Short!

The announcement yesterday that United were one of three clubs who had submitted a bid for the Arsenal striker, Robin van Persie, came as not much of a surprise.

After all, Sir Alex Ferguson had already told friends that he expected that Van Persie would be partnering Wayne Rooney next season, well that what our friends in the tabloid press were insinuating.

But, if that is to be the case then some serious negotiating needs to be going on because Arsenal have informed the media that all three bids for Van Persie fell well short of their valuation.

In fact it seems that City bid £15 million whilst we went in at £13 million, I think I can see what Arsenal are on about!

No offence lads, but Tom Cleverly is awful. After two decades of Robson, Ince, Keane, Scholes and the rest, he is just terrible. Hope Carrick doesn't get injured.

It seems strange to be trying to sign another, albeit, class striker when our midfield is so poor. Sure Van Persie will be off to Barca, Real or Juve anyway.

Arsenal would never sell to us, Wenger said it just last season. Whilst he might not be a fan favourite at the moment I can't imagine him doing that to arsenal and moving to another English club either.

Arsenal want £30m for a player in the last year of his contract. LMAO! As the transfer window winds down their board will panic and he'll go for under £20m. Great player he may be, but I sincerely hope he goes abroad rather than ends up at another PL team.

Hope he goes abroad. Don't want him at City but don't want him at the swamp either.
