All Over for Rio?

All Over for Rio?

Earlier this week we speculated on whether the England career of Rio Ferdinand might be over.

Well it seems that Sir Alex Ferguson reckons it is, remarking to the press when asked if Rio would play for England again,

"I don`t think so. I can`t see it. It`s not on the agenda either."

"He`s 33 now and wants to be fit for us."

"As a centre-back if you look after yourself you should play until you`re thirty-seven."

Anyone care to offer any opinions?

Don't mind him staying at the club until 37, can't see him lasting that long though considering his injury record and fitness levels, I hope it's on a peripheral role like Giggs and Scholes wll hopefully take to let the youngsters play and come through.
