'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Favourites?

Talking to the press, down in South Africa, Sir Alex Ferguson has reacted to the suggestion that City start favourites for the 2012/2013 Premier League title.

In fact, Sir Alex reckons that our unrivalled record at bouncing back after a title loss makes us the favourites remarking,

"People say Manchester City are the team to beat but I don`t agree. We are the team to beat because of the way we react, the way we have bounced back in the past."

All I`ll say is we mustn`t focus on just beating City, there are other worthy title contenders out there.

We're still a team to beat yeah but the league winners are the team to beat for everyone, either that or write off the game as a loss and let them steam roll you as some teams have done against title winners/challengers before.

One thing for certain is we needed to improve our league record when we play them. During the marathon we would've won the race hadn't we lost the sprint at the end lost 6 points to them. We can win a league over 36 games we've just got to ensure we don't give too much away in the two v the challengers.
