Two Plus Two Equals?

Although the Daily Mirror is insistent that Sir Alex Ferguson will be pairing Wayne Rooney with Robin van Persie next season, other sources are inferring that Sir Alex Ferguson may be eyeing up a different striker all together.

They`re capitalizing on the fact that the twenty-three year-old Borussia Dortmund striker, Robert Lewandowski has announced an intention to play in the Premier League.

Now you can see just how easy it is for such speculation to arise when you`re a club of the status of ours!

Can't see why we need another striker to be honest. Whoever is going to be 4th choice striker won't get too much game time and all our current striking options are too good to be 4th choice. 4th choice should go to either a youngster or Macheda whilst he tries to step up. Rather than writing the lad off and signing a striker for 20+ mil give the lad a chance. RVP won't sign anyway and Arsenal wouldn't sell to us whilst Dortmund are demanding too much for Lewandowski.
