Sir Alex Ferguson has agreed to take a strong squad to Pittordrie to take on Aberdeen in a benefit match for the former Aberdeen player, Neil Simpson.
The match takes on added significance as Simpson played under Sir Alex when the boss was in charge of Aberdeen, during which time the un-fancied club won the European Cup Winners Cup, in 1983.

Anyone who can beat Rooney in an arm wrestle gets to play;-). Just glad it's only to Aberdeen had visions of goin south America for a game when I saw the headline. Just how far is the team traveling this year it's got to be further than any other team in the prem. The squad will be knackered before the season starts at this rate.
