'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Hero

Slightly off track but what the……..

As United prepare to take on Amazulu FC tonight, Sir Alex Ferguson has taken the opportunity to speak about somebody who he admires immensely and somebody who celebrates his 94th birthday today - Nelson Mandela.

Speaking about the great gentleman, Sir Alex Ferguson commented to the crowd of journalists hanging onto his ever word,

"The thing that strikes me most - and I`ve met him two or three times - is there`s no bitterness about him."

"It`s an example to the world. What he endured and suffered, he has no bitterness."

"You have to be special to do that. Put that to one side and try to get on with life."

He is truly a remarkable man and what he went through would have broken the majority and Sir Alex is right to have said what he did, kudos to the boss.
