Berbatov - Hammers Interest!

Berbatov - Hammers Interest!

Yesterday we covered how Dimitar Berbatov had used the networking site, Facebook, to explain his desire to get away from Old Trafford in order to play first team football on a regular basis.

Today the inference is that the Bulgarian could well be returning to London with newly promoted West Ham United eager to take the striker on to give their attack some much-needed strength.

But, the two clubs could be heading for a sticking point with it being remarked that United would prefer a straight sale whilst West Ham would prefer to take the striker on loan.

We`ll report further when any more information becomes available.

West ham can feck right off if they think they are going to get him on loan. Better yet, they need a dose of reality if they think Berby is going to go there, if he leaves united I firmly believe he'll leave England all together. Reports are suggesting italy specifically Milan and I wouldn't think that would be too wide of the mark, they've just lost ibrahimovic and Berby would cost a fraction of the fee they received whilst also providing a quality replacement and I reckon he would thrive in the serie A where the game is much slower.

Believe he would thrive in Italy or Spain. It's not like he's lacking in technical ability one of the more skilled players in our squad. The style of play would suit him down to the ground. Can't see him going to West ham he's too good and can't see him doing too well with Big Sam's usual tactics.

Big Sam would look to utilise berbatovs amazing first touch and ball control by hoofing the ball up the field to him for 90 minutes, Berby would do well to steer well clear of that.

Speaking of Sam no doubt the games v Westham this season will be drab affairs due to the tactics he employs. The sooner he and Pulis retire from management the better, then we can get back to proper exciting football rather than the backs to the wall ultra defensive counter attacking stuff.
