'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Little or No Interest!

Despite his scoring record and prowess in front of goal, it appears there have been no official enquiries for the services of Dimitar Berbatov.

Entering the last year of his contract, it had been implied that several clubs were looking at taking the Bulgarian away from Old Trafford.

Available for a fee of 10 million, you`d have thought that Berbatov could clearly do a job for somebody even though he may be a little rusty after making only five Premier League starts last season.

Perhaps we could include him in a player plus cash deal for Luka Modric, after all I believe Berbatov didn`t do too badly during his spell at White Hart Lane!

Maybe we're expecting too much at 10 mil for a player who played very few games last season, who is 31 and is in the last year of his contract. 10 mil might have been possible last season this season however we'd be lucky to 6-8 mil for him. I'm sure there's clubs interested, particularly in Germany, they're just being priced out of making a moving. The high price tag makes me wonder whether Fergie actually has any intention of selling him or wherever it's just a front and he intends on keeping him for the upcoming season.
