Old Favourite Nets Deal

Old Favourite Nets Deal

A former servant of ours who suffered a bad ankle injury playing for us, against Liverpool at Anfield, and who never really got back into the swing of things at Old Trafford, looks like securing himself a new deal shortly.

Alan Smith, who spent some time on loan at MK Dons last season, is set to sign a two year deal with the Buckinghamshire side. Now thirty-one years of age, there`s no doubt that Smith`s best years are behind him but, all the same, we reckon he`ll still be able to offer the club something and we`d like to wish him well.

Best of luck to him and well done to him for netting a deal and overcoming his injury problems to play again.

Hope he gets a good few years playing. That injury still makes me cringe just thinking about it amazed he's even able to play
