'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vidic Latest

It`s one of those headlines that leaves you pondering!

Time after time we`ve been told that Nemanja Vidic will be back sometime after the start of the season as his rehabilitation is approaching a close and then along comes the Daily Mail with the inference that the Serbian centre-back is back in pre-season training and will be ready for the start of the season.

Make of it what you will!

Great news if true, lookin forward to seeing him solidify what was sometimes a weak and fragile defence last season.

Will be glad to see him back. Can't help but think of what may have been if we had him fit in the last half of the season.

It's good news for you that he's making a comeback, but at 31 he's unlikely to be quite the same player. Better than any of your other options sure, but probably not as good as you remember him.
