New Four Year Deal

New Four Year Deal

His twin brother may be on the verge of going out on loan but there appears to be no doubt that Rafael is to be part of fixtures at Old Trafford.

It was announced today that the Brazilian defender signed a new four year deal and received the following accolade from Sir Alex Ferguson,

'Rafael is one of the club's brightest young prospects.'

'He has no fear of playing and has great belief in himself. The boy has developed immensely since joining United, his energy and enthusiasm are a joy to watch."

'Rafael has all the attributes to become one of the best full-backs in the world and I am delighted he has signed a new contract.'

We`re delighted that the young lad has agreed to pursue his career at Old Trafford.

Brilliant, hopefully Fabio also has a successful season at QPR, gets plenty of game time and he'll sign a new contract also. Both have the potential to be world class fullbacks unfortunately both have stalled in their development due to injuries, hopefully they're both over the worst of it now and can knuckle down and we'll et to see more of them.
