Out of the Race?

Although there are many United supporters who would like to see Luka Modric join Manchester United, it isn`t looking likely.

The word on the streets is that United are not willing to meet Spurs £35 million valuation of the player and are resigned to him not being on the Old Trafford playing staff next season.

Shame that but is he seriously a £35 million player you might want to ask yourselves?

Hi. Chelsea fan here. Modric is worth all that money. We are ready to pounce any time if Daniel Levy doesn't become as stubborn as he always is.
BOTUM
Yet again debt debt debt like a stuck bloody record if Fergie wants anyone he can buy them. But he won't be held to ransom by Levi and his retarded advisors. Plus sunny pretty sure Ronaldo was sold for 80 mill not 80 quid

His not worth 35 mil BOTUM, thats the thing. It's how much he'll go for most probably yeah but at most he's worth 25 mil, especially considering his 2nd half of the season where he was virtually non existent and the fact that he wants to leave. There's cheaper options available out there who can do the job we're looking for, provide more years service to the club and potentially be better than Modric ability wise. Strootman and Belhanda are a couple that pop to mind off the top of my head.
