Oh well boohoo I'm sure I'll get over it anyway. We'll have to get a reasonably priced younger player instead with the potential to be better than Modric.... damn!

Because according to you spuds Modric is the be all and end all and no one out the can be as good or even better than him. Get a grip there's always the next best thing and I'd sooner see us get that and have years of service than get ripped off for Modric who's got what, 5 years at the top level before hitting his decline.
