Having been released by Manchester United, Michael Owen is still looking for another club.
As well as Stoke City being linked with the former England striker, it appears that any chance of Owen moving to the United Arab Emirates club, Al-Shabab, is a no go with the club insisting that the thirty-two year old striker is - on the downhill!

I'd have thought he could still do a PL job on a pay as you play basis!

Do agree fear Owen is still one of the best finishers in England. He may not have the raw pace he once did but has adjusted his game to suit

Still can do a job at premier league level he's just got to avoid injuries otherwise he's not going to convince any one.
