A Prime Candidate

A Prime Candidate

But, the manner in which has established himself, in the Premier League and having made his England debut, makes Smalling a key candidate to become a permanent fixture of the 'New England` don`t you think!

No, Cahill and Lescott will/should be the CB pairing for the WC qualifiers. Smalling's time will come if he keeps progressing at the rate he has been.

New England? Heard that plenty of times before and it always ended up being the same old England. Whilst I agree with Bluedub i wouldn't be too shocked if the CB pairing remains the same with John Terry still dominating the position despite average performance at both club and international level.
